Apple Creator Studio adds powerful new AI features and even more creative tools
Updates bring built-in MotionVFX content to Final Cut Pro, video assets in the Content Hub, expanded music creation tools to Logic Pro, and new intelligence features to Logic Pro, Keynote, Pages, and Numbers
CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA Apple today introduced transformative updates to Apple Creator Studio, the powerful collection of creative apps designed to put studio-grade tools into the hands of modern creators across Mac, iPad, and iPhone. Final Cut Pro for Mac now includes built-in MotionVFX — an expansive collection of visual effects, plug-ins, transitions, templates, and motion graphics tools — as well as seamless editing in Pixelmator Pro. Apple’s curated Content Hub now includes video assets and is available in Final Cut Pro. Music creators using Logic Pro for Mac gain an enhanced Stem Splitter that now separates drums and a redesigned Browser that incorporates all sounds, with music understanding and even a Splice library. Keynote, Pages, and Numbers introduce new AI features in beta, including new Model Context Protocol (MCP) support for workflow automation.1 They also add stock video in the Content Hub and new premium themes and templates.
Apple Creator Studio updates will be available on the App Store this November as a free update for existing subscribers.2

Expansive New Creative Toolkits and Video Workflows
Final Cut Pro for Mac and iPad delivers an exceptional set of new capabilities for video editors, content creators, and filmmakers, from emerging storytellers to seasoned professionals deep in complex edits. Final Cut Pro for Mac now integrates MotionVFX directly into the app, giving editors access to thousands of elements, including templates with unique themes, stylish graphics, titles, and transitions, as well as tools for rotoscoping, tracking, and color grading. Editors can also tap into the Content Hub directly within Final Cut Pro and access a library of Apple-curated stock videos, photos, and backgrounds to fill gaps, add polish, or spark new ideas without leaving their workflow.
Cross-app workflows and visual creation also take a major leap forward in Final Cut Pro. Editors can open any image from their timeline directly in Pixelmator Pro, take advantage of advanced editing tools, and save changes back to the project automatically — no reimporting required. And Final Cut Pro introduces powerful workflow improvements, including more keyframe easing options for finer animation control, the ability to disconnect clips from the primary storyline to place them anywhere on the timeline, and 23 new transcription languages, making it easier than ever to caption and search footage.
Motion also adds a built-in set of powerful MotionVFX plug-ins for cinematic color grading, 3D camera tracking, and one-click selection for stunning visual effects. Additionally, Compressor introduces the ability to encode Cinematic mode video recorded on iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo.
Taking Music Creation Even Further
Logic Pro for Mac and iPad brings sophisticated, intuitive new tools for beat making, songwriting, remixing, and production. It also gets an all-new design featuring Liquid Glass, with translucent surfaces and deeper contrast that highlight waveforms and tracks.
Finding the perfect sound is faster and more intuitive than ever with a redesigned Browser on Mac that centralizes loops, instruments, effect patches, and more. Powered by music understanding — an on-device audio analysis tool — Logic Pro automatically analyzes, classifies, and tags added sounds so creators can easily search their entire collection or drag in a loop to surface matching audio.
Logic Pro’s industry-leading Stem Splitter gets even more advanced, with the ability to isolate, replace, or rebalance drum parts without needing the original multitracks. Users can also unlock a new Producer Pack from the 20-time Grammy winner and visionary widely known as the King of Modern Salsa, Sergio George. In this Producer Pack, George opens up his toolbox with his signature piano sound and authentic Latin jazz and salsa loops, including a full salsa percussion section, brass ensemble, and basses.
With Voice Memo Studio Sound, users can also reduce room ambience and background noise in recordings captured on supported iPhone models, with the option to continue fine-tuning in Logic Pro.
More Creative Options and Formats
Across Keynote, Pages, and Numbers, the Content Hub expands to include Apple-curated stock video footage, giving creators dynamic visuals to enhance presentations, reports, and spreadsheets. Subscribers also gain access to a fresh collection of professionally designed templates and themes. Keynote introduces support for Keynote Interchange Format (.keyx), an open JSON-based bundle file format designed to be readable and accessible to external tools, developer workflows, and AI agents. New MCP support enables external AI agents and tools to read content, perform edits, and execute automated actions directly in Keynote, Pages, and Numbers.
Freeform adds text styles for one-step formatting and reuse across boards, custom and preset board background colors, and, arriving in December, the ability to edit images directly in Pixelmator Pro.
Pricing and Availability
- Apple Creator Studio updates will be available on the App Store this November for free for existing subscribers. New subscribers pay HK$98 per month or HK$980 per year. All new subscribers will enjoy a one-month free trial of Apple Creator Studio, and with the purchase of a new Mac or qualifying iPad, customers can receive three months of Apple Creator Studio for free.3
- Education savings are available for college students and educators for HK$18 per month or HK$180 per year.4
- Apple Creator Studio is available to download on the App Store as a universal purchase.
- Up to six family members can share all of the apps and content included in Apple Creator Studio with Family Sharing.
